Overview of the Role

  • CA Carlin is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Manager to oversee the execution of retail initiatives throughout the state of Wisconsin and northern area of Illinois. The Retail Sales Manager is responsible for the supervision and training of all Retail Representatives within assigned territory. Collaborates with the Retail Director in regards prioritization, and execution of retail services by executing consistent retail practices including use of retail software. Maintains a great relationship with our Manufacturers, Retail team members, and co-workers.

What You’ll do at C.A. Carlin

  • Manage, hire and train Retail Representatives within assigned territory
  • Retail software Mission execution including maintain store lists, data entry verification, photo compilation and completion score card tracking
  • Delegation of store assignments, routes and frequency for all retail representatives
  • Ensure consistency with all retail practices and standard operating procedures
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales while maintaining efficiency and profitability with the execution of all retail projects
  • Regular communication with Retail Director relating to successes and opportunities with retail execution
  • Conduct regional meetings with retail team to communicate priorities and expectations relating to retail activity
  • Manage payroll approval and expense budgets for all Retail Representatives

What You Should Bring to the Table

  • High School education or higher is required
  • High level of customer service
  • Strong communication, organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to work in both independent and a team environment
  • Must be able to perform physical activities, i.e. frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, lifting, etc. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • May be subject to a background check and drug screening
